| Flounce of the late nineteenth century with two distinct sprays of exotic flowers and foliage, separated by geometric trails and stylised leaves. There is a noticeable use of the Honiton edge stitch. Note also the use of heavy gimps on flower petals, stalks and small leaves. It was started very neatly at one end with a flower petal and an initial trial, later modified, of the ground indicating that it was originally intended for sale. | |
