| Dresden enamel mesh bag, with a rectangular Art Deco style
enamelled metal frame. The mesh is enamelled in off white, rust, orange and
spring green colours to match the frame. Chain link handle. Snap closure
decorated with an orange clasp and lined with cream rayon fabric. The mesh which
makes up the body of the bag is very fine, and is bordered at the bottom in a
zig zag fringe of mesh.

| Embroidered Hungarian purse,
with red silk tassels and lined in cream silk. Embroidered in satin and
split stem stitch with silk threads. The bag closure is formed by the silk
cord which is secured at the back of the bag and pulled through a loop
formed with button hole stitch. The border of the bag is made of a narrow
crocheted bauble fringe in a pale avocado silk thread. Navy blue, red, and
mustard yellow pattern on a pale avocado green ground. Label inside purse reads "Split, Dalmatia, Handbag" BMT(c) 1343 |

| Black satin evening bag
gathered in a ruffle where it attaches to a plastic tortoise shell effect
semi circle shaped frame. The initial ‘A’ is created from a plastic string
of diamante, with a matching diamante effect on the reverse of the bag
bordering the gathered satin edge along the frame. The short carry handle is
made of similar black satin. The frame opens with a latch, and the bag is
lined with a swirl of brightly coloured patterned silk also gathered in

in a ‘mock-croc’ texture with press stud fastenings. The front flap opens up
to reveal 3 compartments with a central zippered pouch. There is an outside
pocket the size of the bag and a short leather handle attached at either
