| The Cecil Higgins Art Gallery held Bedfordshire Artists, an exhibition of Victorian watercolours and pencil sketches of Bedfordshire, in the spring of 2000. This website is a virtual exhibition that was presented in collaboration with Bedfordshire Artists and features many of the works that were on display, along with paintings from the Bedford Borough Council Collection of over 1,000 watercolours. |

You can then select works by that artist or see a brief biography. Search by Subjects: This exploration tool allows you to select the subjects of the works featured in the exhibition. Search by Places: This exploration tool allows you to search the works of the exhibition using a map of Bedfordshire and location of the paintings. |
