George Noble

Noble is thought to have been an active engraver between 1795 and 1806, during which period he made engravings for Hume's History of England and Boydell's Shakespeare and engraved a number of portraits. His picture of Bedford Bridge shows the structure as it was before 1765, the year the two central buildings were demolished, suggesting that Noble may have been working earlier than previously thought.
