George Belton Moore 1805 - 1875

 

 

As a pupil of Charles Pugin, George Moore studied architectural drawing and painting. He learned the techniques of architectural perspective thoroughly and published his own ideas on the subject in Perspective, Its Principles and Practice, going on to teach drawing at the Royal Military Academy and University College, London. He also took up landscape painting and exhibited at the Royal Academy between 1830 and 1870.
